In 2006, two small-town Canadian teachers packed up their kids and moved to Germany for an experimental year of digital nomadism, way before it was cool.
These are my stories of that year, stories of cultural dislocation, stereotypes and family adventure, with a clarity that only comes from being all the way out of your depth.
